I mean, with that lead in, I HAD to submit. Found this on Backstage. It provided a brief SOW, along with dates and rate. I submitted. When they came back and asked a few questions, I told them I wanted to "loop in my manager". She did her job and negotiated for more. Lesson learned? Two in particular. 1) If you don't ask, they won't reconsider and pay you more. 2) Have confidence in the value you bring to the table. If they walk, it wasn't meant to be. Shoots this Sunday, down on Wall Street, near the Bull, for 2 hours.
