Little victory! Just made it past the self-tape stage and got a response from my agent at Media Artists Group that I'm being sent to producers. This includes my audition tape and some additional reel footage! Now as I try to "forget about it," I'm reminded of our guest Rochelle Robinson telling the tale of how she made it all the way to Scorsese' desk and how that was a little victory for her. I'm screaming internally over whose desk I just came across (*dies*), but tight lipped I shall stay...I'm afraid if I breathe the wrong way everything will implode lol

I spent 3 days on set in NYC last November working on my first UNIVERSAL comedy, Mon Héroïne! While I was originally cast as an Under-5, I was able to earn enough laughs and trust on set that the director kept feeding me lines and asking me to improvise. This meant that I got to spend more days on set and more mornings in the HMUA chair getting all dolled up as my character, Kate! We all know that day players can end up on the cutting room floor, so I was holding my breath and crossing my fingers that that wouldn't be the case... While the premiere isn't for a few more months, today I woke up with the best surprise! The official trailer dropped, and I speak in it!!! EEEEEEKKK!!!

It's official! Mark your calendars for December 14th, 2022, because Mon Héroïne is coming to the big screen! In this wonderful French-American indie comedy, I play an unwelcoming receptionist named Kate who tries to deter a young French director (Chloé Jouannet) from getting her foot in the door of an A list celebrity's New York production office.

After 2 years of trying to get in the door, Stacey was just called in to audition for Heery-Loftus in Philadelphia--and it's all thanks to her new headshots by Portraits by Souza.
